  • Coronavirus (COVID-19) Statement from Federal Publications Seminars
    The health and safety of our community, staff and event attendees is our highest priority. As we continue to monitor guidance related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other organizations, we are committed to taking appropriate precautions to provide a safe environment that doesn’t place our staff or event attendees at undue risk. 

    Given the evolving nature of COVID-19, FPS will continue to closely monitor developments. In addition to safeguarding the health and safety of our event attendees and employees, we remain committed to providing clear and timely communications leading up to and at our events. Should we receive information from the CDC that would prompt us to adjust our event schedule, we will immediately notify all impacted parties via email and post regular updates on our website.

  • How do I register for a course?
    Registering for a virtual or classroom course, webinar/webinar series, or an FPSEvent is easy - learn more. You can register online or you can register by phone. Call (888) 494-3696, and a representative will assist you.
  • What happens if I purchase and register for a public, in person course and that course is cancelled due to COVID or another reason?
    FPS will work with you to ensure you receive the value of your purchase. You will be able to use your "credit" toward that course when it is offered in the future and you will be eligible to take the course virtually if offered.
  • What is the difference between a webinar and a Virtual Course?
    FPS Webinar: A seminar that is 60-90 minutes in length that takes place on the internet.

    FPS Virtual Course: Offers the same high quality content and subject matter experts as our in-person classroom courses that allow you to train from any location. It's highly interactive with customer participation and Q&A time. Virtual courses are typically 1-5 days in length.
  • I have not received my CLE or CPE credit. Who do i contact?
    After you fill out the course form, you should have received an email from West Legal Ed Center, that they have received your request and have forward the request for credit to your jurisdiction. West Legal Ed is our administrator for the credit and you may need to follow up with them or with the jurisdiction you are requesting credit. After 30 days, please contact our accreditation partners at West Legal Ed Center (was@thomsonreuters.com).
  • What kind of credit can I receive?
    Most live courses offer CLE for Attorneys, CPE for Accounting Professionals, CLP for Federal Government Personnel, NCMA Continuing Education and General CEUs. Though we do not have formal relationships with all organizations, most recognize FPS as offering quality programs and accept credit towards continuing education, however you will want to check with them and self- submit the request for credit.
  • How do i get a hold of an instructor if I have a question after I have taken the class?
    Contact Us with your contact information, date, title of the course and we will forward your information to the instructor.
  • I have a large group that needs training on specific topics. What are my options?
    Call us! We can work with you to bring a subject matter expert to your location or provide some options for taking our courses via classroom or virtually.
  • Having trouble viewing PDFs while using a Google Chrome browser?
    If you are unable to open a PDF file, right-click on the link and select "save-as". This will allow you to save the file to the directory of your choosing, and open it directly with Adobe Acrobat.
